I bought this item for my grandson for his birthday to his-4. That was a hit! He carried with him everywhere. He has been dropped and has been raised, the screen is not installed properly, guns (missile) shot about 18 inches but without any power that friends or the baby would not hurt if one hit them. Crocodile came out, the parrot has a lot of sit perched, and the key to the beginning of the song is easy and practical. All in all it turned out much better than I imagined. The value of education is what you make of it. If you are a parent who is involved there is a rich vocabulary will be taught here. My grandson is now proficient in all matters concerning the pirate ship, but most is educational creative play that has been inspired. I bought extra to play with the pirates and two items have been wonderful. I would highly recommend this for every child.
